Texas native, Sterling Shepperd knows a thing or two about the crazy Texas weather and what it takes to manage and maintain your property.
Integrity is at the heart of everything Sterling stands for. From proudly serving our country in the United States Marine Corps for several years and taking part in Operation Enduring Freedom to the Rockdale Police Department, Sterling has a tireless work ethic, loyalty and the pursuit of excellence woven into the very fabric of his being.
Sterling has worked in the construction sector for 5 years and has worn many hats during that time. In, 2021 Sterling joined forces with Brandon Blagg and together they have become Western Roofing Co.
Sterling is married to Ashley and together they have three beautiful children: Adeline Grace, Shooter Michael and Georgia Scout. Sterling loves the outdoors, which comes in nicely since roofing is an outdoor pursuit! If you can’t find him, he’s probably out hunting or hitting some bullseyes while shooting competitively.
Brandon Blagg loves the business of business. Following completion of a Masters of Communication Studies, Brandon forged a career as an entrepreneur. As the founder of The Bear Mountain, Waco's only one-stop outdoor adventure shop specializing in all range of hiking, camping, kayaking and fishing equipment as well as the best full-service bicycle shop around, Brandon knows a thing or two about what it takes to make any project successful. Not to mention he’s even taught Organizational Behavior at Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business.
After expanding The Bear Mountain to College Station, Brandon eventually sold the business and began working in real estate. Specializing in residential and ranch sales, Brandon quickly began to realize the great need for excellent and reliable partners in construction. Because entrepreneurship is at the heart of what makes him tick, Brandon saw this need and together with Sterling they began Western Roof Co.
When not at the office, Brandon can most likely be found in the great outdoors: hunting, fishing, on the lake or trying to make his golf game a little more respectable.
